Mariel Gesualdi has been writing lyrics as long as she can remember.

When carrying around her elementary school notebook full of poems collided with teaching herself guitar at age 12, she officially caught the songwriting bug.

After years of writing her heart out from the comfort of her bedroom, her high school vocal coach told her about the songwriting program at Nashville’s Belmont University. To Nashville she went.

When she later traded her songwriting studies in for a sociology degree from Fordham University, her heart wouldn’t let her walk away from her musical pursuit. So she started once again and never looked backed.

Currently NYC based, she is taking every opportunity she can to share her music with the world. Drawing inspiration from fellow songstresses Taylor Swift, Maisie Peters and Kacey Musgraves, her writing tugs on the heartstrings of all who listen.  With her poignant lyrics, catchy hooks and captivating voice, she continues to connect with people from all walks of life through her songs. You can find all of her music, including her latest single “Glass,” on all streaming platforms now.
